Furniture Delivery Measuring Guide: From Doors to Corridors

Furniture Delivery Measuring Guide: From Doors to Corridors

We recommend that you calculate the amount of space the furniture you're interested in will occupy in your selected room ahead of time. By doing so, you can sure that the furniture fits your needs.

The dimensions of the furniture can be found in the product sizes section on the product detail page. If you're considering a piece like a sofa or an extendable table, remember to calculate for its dimensions when expanded.

Key Areas to Consider for Furniture Delivery

Doorways: It's important to measure both the width and height of your doorways to make sure that the packages can be delivered through them without any issues.

Staircases and Landings: In the absence of an elevator, our delivery team will use the stairs. Given that some stairways might be tight, measuring the distance from the stairs to the ceiling and the space between the handrails and the wall is crucial to confirm that your packages can navigate these areas.

Elevators: If an elevator is available for use, please sure that it can accommodate the size of your packages. If the elevator dimensions exceed those of your ordered items, there should be no concern.

Corridors: Since corridors tend to be the most narrow spaces within a home, ensure there's ample room for the products to get through. Also, if there are any wall decorations like shelves, take into account these items to avoid any obstruction during delivery.

Should the furniture you buy not fit within your home or encounter issues moving from the building entrance to your apartment, this will be your responsibility.

Please ensure to notify us in advance if there are any conditions that might complicate the delivery process.
