Warranty Policy at The Industrial Furniture

2-Year Warranty
Our furniture is built to last a lifetime, and we guarantee it for the first two years. Every piece we make is covered for 2 years from the date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship, such as structural failure of joints, frames or legs, or a fault in the original construction or upholstery.

This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Inspection on Delivery
Please unwrap and inspect your items in the presence of the delivery crew. Note any damage on the delivery note and email us clear photos within 48 hours of delivery, before assembling or using the item. Transit damage is handled under our Refund Policy.

Making a Warranty Claim
Email info@theindustrialfurniture.co.uk with your order number, photos and a short video showing the issue in normal daylight. We may inspect the item ourselves or arrange an independent inspection, and will then advise on a repair, replacement or refund. Most finish and minor issues can be repaired quickly by our workshop. Where a defect is confirmed, we cover any collection and redelivery costs.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

• Natural characteristics of solid wood: variation in grain, knots, colour and tone, small natural checks, and seasonal movement.
• Slight variation in a hand-applied finish not visible from approx. 1 metre in natural daylight, and dimensional variation of up to ±2 cm.
• Normal wear and tear, including natural softening or creasing of upholstery and fading from sunlight.
• Damage caused by accidents, misuse, heat, moisture or spills, direct sunlight, unsuitable cleaning products, pets, or not following our Care Guide.
• Damage caused by incorrect assembly (including drilling), alteration or repair by anyone other than us.
• Commercial use (restaurants, hotels, offices), unless agreed with us in writing.

If we inspect an item and find it is not defective, collection, inspection and redelivery charges apply as set out in our Refund Policy.

Returns
All our products are handmade to order, so we do not accept change-of-mind returns. See our Refund Policy for full details.
