TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms apply to all orders placed with The Industrial Furniture Ltd (Company No. 13504075). By placing an order you agree to these terms, our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our Shipping Policy. If there is any inconsistency, the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to cancellations, returns and refunds.

1. Made-to-order products

All our products are handmade to order. Production begins only after you place your order and select your specification (size, wood, finish, stain, fabric, leather or colour), which is recorded in your order confirmation. As goods made to your specification, they are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, Regulation 28(1)(b)).

2. Cancellation

You may cancel free of charge within 48 hours of placing your order. After 48 hours, production has begun and 20% of the order value will be retained to cover materials and production costs already incurred. Orders cannot be cancelled after dispatch.

3. Lead times

Lead times shown on our website are estimates. The agreed delivery period for made-to-order items is up to 24 weeks from the date of your order. If we expect to exceed this, we will contact you with a revised date. If we cannot deliver within a reasonable additional period agreed with you, you may cancel for a full refund.

4. Natural materials and handmade finish

Solid wood is a natural material. Variation in grain, knots, colour and tone, small natural checks, seasonal movement, slight variation in a hand-applied finish not visible from approx. 1 metre in natural daylight, and dimensional variation of up to ±2 cm are characteristics of handmade furniture and are not defects.

5. Returns and faults

We do not accept change-of-mind returns. Faulty, damaged or not-as-described items are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Consumer Rights Act 2015; your statutory rights are not affected. Where an inspected item is found not to be faulty, collection, inspection and redelivery costs are charged as set out in that policy.

6. Prices

Our prices may change in response to material costs and promotions. We do not refund price differences after an order has been placed.
